So right now I'm at the Westlake Porter Library. HOLY CRAP!! It is sooo nice. They have, like, 38 computers, and its super huge. We had our officer trainer today for key club. Naturally, Kelly and I were the only ones to show up. Division 13 doesn't have a Leutenant governor (Ltg) so I felt kind of awkward. It was all Divison 14, 14, 14, 14, 14, 24, 24, 24, 24, 24,.....etc. I have a really bad feeling it's going to be me and Kelly doing most of the work this year. That's not good!! Kelly and I can't do everything. I don't even know what Beth is up to, since she hasn't showed up to any recent events or meetings. I really want to do good stuff, and raise money and give back to the community. I wish there were more I could do, but not be spread thin and stressed, you know?
My piece-of-crap bike broke this morning. I was going under the Washington Ave. bridge, and up the hill when I just heard something *pop* and I couldn't pedal anymore. I saw the chain popped off which is not a problem (if there's something on the bike I can fix, it's a popped chain) but the back brakes are all screwed up. It actually looks like the cable connecting the hand brake and the actual pad came off. So that means that the left side of the back brake is now permenantly shoved up against the tire. It was really hard to walk it home (and I had to walk it ALL the way home) because the tire doesn't want to rotate like normal. I really hope I can get a new bike out of this, because I need one. I have no mode of transportation now. Except for my rollerblades, which I really don't want to go to Christina's on. It takes 20 minutes by bike. How long you think it would take by blades?? Insane.
Well, I'm going to marvel some more at this HUGE library. I'm so jealous. It makes the main library look like a cardboard shack in comparison. I'm signing of blogger for now. Adieu!
